| These rigged Little Draggins are DEADLY in the shotgun (way, way, back) position. They were specifically designed to replicate the little squids and silversides fishermen find in the bellies of Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and other Pelagic species. We start with YOUR CHOICE of either .3oz Mini Bullet, .3oz Mini Pusher or .6oz Mini Bullet (our favorite) Head. Then we add a custom made South African 2-2 1/2" skirt w/abalone style finish. Next, we rig these with 6' of 60lb Florocarbon Leader, a Mustad 6/0 UltraPoint Hoodlum 4x hook (pt# 10827BLN), and use 150lb double sleeve crimps at each end along with a loop protector. We use an offshore loop on the hook end to reduce chafing. While the majority of your catches will be small tuna and dolphin, our customers have caught HUGE fish on their Little Draggins. That is why we seriously beefed up the hook after several reports of straightened hooks after extended fights. Largest Tuna to date 112 lbs; largest Dolphin 62 lbs. In addition to Tuna and Dolphin (Mahi), every Pelagic species including Billfish (Blue, White, Spear, Sail), Mackerals (Wahoo, King, Spanish, Cero),will hit this.
